Texas Tech Flash Flood Study Focus Groups

Description

Texas Tech University's Department of Geosciences is looking for English-speaking Adults 18 or older who experienced flooding in July 2025 or 2026 in and around Comfort, TX. Through 2 small-group conversations they will ask participants to share information they received about flooding and the decisions they made in response. Focus groups will take place on Thursday, August 27; one session at 10:00 am and another at 5:00 pm at Comfort Public Library, will last about 90 minutes, and participants will be mailed a $35 Amazon card within a week. Participation is voluntary and confidential.
