Get ready to celebrate big in Comfort! The 2026 Independence Day Celebration, hosted by the Comfort Chamber of Commerce, is happening Saturday, July 4th—and it’s packed with small-town charm and all-day fun. Kick things off with the adorable Children’s Bike Parade at 9:30 AM, then cheer on the red, white, and blue at the Independence Day Parade at 10 AM.

From 11 AM to 1:30 PM (rolling through 2 PM), head to the park for live music, vibrant art, local vendors, games, and a delicious Picnic in the Park. Be sure to stick around for the fan-favorite Pie Contest, where bakers bring their best homemade pies to compete for bragging rights and a slice of hometown glory! There’s something around every corner to enjoy.

And don’t forget—our local shops will be open and ready to welcome you, so take time to explore all the unique spots that make Comfort special.
