During our 5th week of "Color Our World", we're REALLY going to be coloring! We'll all be outside on, drawing self-portraits of ourselves--in the styles of famous artists--on the Library's sidewalk in chalk! We'll have all kinds of artists' templates to choose from, and our portraits will last until the next big rain! You could be famous! So join us on July 23 to have some artistic fun and lengthen our reading logs!!

Wednesday Evening Mountain Bike Ride is at 346 Flat Rock Creek Road, Comfort, Texas. Get there at 6:30 pm, Group ride starts 6:45 Pm. This is a free ride on Wednesdays only. Every Wednesday, pending weather, till we close for hunting season November & December.

Hotel Giles Happy Hour/Jam Session-Picking Circle

Hotel Giles hosts a Happy Hour/Jam Session-Picking Circle every Friday between 6:00-9:00PM. Musicians/singers bring your talents and instrument (there is usually and extra guitar) and sit in with other musicians sharing the joy of music with one another. Light snacks and beverages available. We ask non-hotel guests to bring something to share. We're in the Parlor if the weather is not conducive (too hot/cold/wet) to sitting in the courtyard. If you're a pianist, there is a piano available in the Parlor when we are inside, you will need a keyboard if we are in the courtyard.
