Comfort Public Library Summer Reading Program

Come "Unearth a Story" at Comfort Public Library! Every Wednesday evening at 5:30 starting June 17 and ending July 22 we will host the 2026 Summer Reading Program. We'll be "unearthing" books on Paleontology and Archaeology this year which should be lots of fun. After all, who doesn't like Dinosaurs and Mummies! We'll have programs from the Witte Museum, the Hill Country Archaeological Society, Science Heroes, and more!! Be sure to join us to improve your child's reading skills AND have fun while they're doing it!!

Independence Day Celebration

Kick things off with the adorable Children's Bike Parade at 9:30 AM, then cheer on the red, white, and blue at the Independence Day Parade at 10 AM.From 11 AM to 1:30 PM (rolling through 2 PM), head to the park for live music, vibrant art, local vendors, games, and a delicious Picnic in the Park. Be sure to stick around for the fan-favorite Pie Contest, where bakers bring their best homemade pies to compete for bragging rights and a slice of hometown glory!
