Comfort Heritage Foundation General Meeting

Mark your calendars for our February general meeting on Monday, the 9th, starting at 7:00 pm at the Heritage Foundation Archives building. The meeting will kick off with brief business items and then on to our featured program, "German speaking students attending Comfort schools." There will be a panel of folks from our community who will share their experiences in attending school in Comfort when they did not speak English nor had any comprehension of it. It will be an insightful, lively and fun display of what it was like at that time. This meeting is open to any and all people interested in learning about Comfort's rich heritage. Refreshments will be served.

This special evening brings together Chamber members, business leaders, and community partners to celebrate the people and businesses that make Comfort thrive. Enjoy a festive Mardi Gras inspired atmosphere complete with a Cajun flair dinner catered by Asher's Creative Catering , featuring classic favorites like sausage and chicken gumbo, shrimp and grits, fresh oysters on the half shell, hush puppies, catfish nuggets w red/tartar sauce, dessert including bread pudding and king cake. Throughout the night, we will recognize outstanding Chamber members and community leaders whose dedication, service, and leadership have made a lasting impact on Comfort and the surrounding area. It is a night of appreciation, connection, and celebration of the year behind us and the opportunities ahead. The banquet will be held Thursday February 12, 2026 from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Ingenhuett on High in Comfort.
